Biography
The enigmatic deity of the shadow plane, from unknown origins moving to unknown destinations. The Shadow has always been an information broker and with their newfound abilities they are even better at it then ever before. The creator of the Black Library, several social media websites, a popular search engine, and three online dating sites. The Shadow is a somewhat reclusive entity and very little, including their true capabilities, are unknown. With the ability to manipulate information, they have suppressed most information that they even exist. The Shadow is uniquely able to hear what people say between their pandem binds as well as detect other interplanar activity through powerful pandem spells known only to them. They also seem to keep popping up in weird places when no one is paying attention. Upon claiming the shadow plane, they gained the ability to be within any shadow and vastly enhanced their eavesdropping abilities.
Originally known as the mythical "Thing in the Dark" by the shades, upon becoming the ruler of their plane The Shadow became the god of shades by default. They actually haven't gotten the news on that one since The Shadow has no interest in telling them about this development. True to their usual patterns, they don't find it useful to reveal information about themselves unless necessary. It has become known that they possess several binds already and use them to keep eyes on things around the galaxy while simultaneously acting as brokers so that people do not need to ever actually meet The Shadow in person. They are a shapeless entity of liquid darkness though they are known to take on very unassuming forms with their newfound powers. Often presenting themselves as a cat, bird, child, elderly figure, or other such background presences. Though Yoshai confirms that The Shadow is powerful enough that fights should not be picked with them even though they make a habit of making sure no one knows how strong they actually are.
