Biography
Valen is a zenakan mercenary known for going from one dispute to the next with no real client consistency. She was conceived intentionally during one of ZFO234-4's mana flares to improve her chances of being among Zenaka's elite. She was sold off to one of the zenakan territorial governors where she began training to be a soldier. Later in her life, her governor would die during a violent annexation by a neighboring lord. Some theorize it was suspicious that she just happened to be nowhere around the entire territory on that day.
There were attempts by the new governor to capture Valen as the rightful property of the territory in question, though they discovered that to be a little more difficult than it should be. She survived moving from territory to territory, often getting into gunfights with bounty hunters, eventually forming her own crew as her notoriety grew. The failure of several other groups to capture her it served to gain her notoriety and make it easier to find work from the very people who tried to hunt her.
During the invasion of her homeworld she was quick to abandon her own people in favor of working for the Vloz. She suspected that if another race capable of traveling the stars had reached them, then zenakan currency and goods were about to become dramatically less valuable. So she invested in working for solians for solian credits and military hardware. When VSEC came to contest the Vloz, she worked for them instead due to Elion realizing she could be bought with starships. Something VSEC was much more technologically progressed in than the Vloz'Khress.
