As with all arcurans, Ranwe has a very long name. Fortunately he has figured out how to use copy paste for filling out his government forms and other such paperwork using a clipboard function from his APT. Many Solians just call him "General Ranwe the Great" to slim it down when they still want to add just a little formality. As his lengthy name implies, he has been on many adventures and is a clever problem solver. After years of adapting to a galactic civilization, he's managed to work out a lot of the kinks. He is especially familiar with weapons, vehicles, and military tactics. Because Arcurans love that stuff. He is also a phenomenal table top wargame player in his spare time, having won three tournaments and almost always making it to at least the quarter finals. Despite being the formerly elected mayor of Brightland, he has decided to return to his small town arcuran roots of war and violence. Despite his primitive origins, being made of pure mana has its advantages. He benefits heavily from being around modern generator technology and can store large quantities of energy. He is what sollians would classify as an 'artillery mage' and specializes in large scale devastation. One of his many names 'The Mountain River that Cleaves the World' alludes to this obvious fact that he can leave craters wherever he casts. It would be an understatement to say he is an evocation specialist.
He has adapted to modern life with the Solians quite well even beyond arcuran standards. Becoming well educated on its history and modern magical practices. These were directly related to his attempts to learn how to blow things up better, but it still counts. Ranwe is often found lurking around sports bars, considering sports to be a viable form of conflict and competition even if a bit mild for his tastes other than combat sports.
