Biography
One of Uleshen's three primary matrons, Princess Nihlav is an experienced merkas veteran and regarded as one of their eldest champions at the age of fifty four by Sol terms. As implied by her title, she is first in line to take over the Uleshen clan's administration should the ruling queen die. She can lay claim to being the most advanced witch of the merkas people, knowing a vast library of arcane spells which she has learned to project at higher levels than normal thanks to the arcane moon constantly supplying her with mana. Her years as a warrior against the arcurans has left her to be particularly adept at physical combat and surprisingly capable compared to the rest of her species. It is widely believed that she has impossible physical strength, and her physique does little to dispel the notion. In truth, she figured out the bull's strength spell on her own so can become as strong as a dragonborn.
She is well learned and naturally inclined towards curiosity, leading to her mastery of the arcane as far as her people have managed to discover. Her age shows with her greater perspective than most merkas though is keenly aware of her less enlightened companion's point of view. This dual life between her own interests and those of her subjects has created an outer shell that makes it hard to read her or figure out what she really wants.
