Biography
The myth of the zankist world, the legendary first grandmaster. They're actually not that discreet about this fact, but people don't believe that its a Kobold who doesn't know how to work his APT enough to post on social media. Grandmaster Kennae is credited to inventing half the schools of Zankou and casually invents new techniques in his never ending journey to master the art of zankou.
He is approximately 800 years old, having mastered his ki to such proficiency as to stop aging through sheer healthy living alone. Despite being a zankou genius with centuries of experience, he's still a bit of a quirky kobold and sometimes doesn't seem terribly wise for his age. It turns out living long doesn't make kobolds any less unstable in personality.
Kennae lived through an era of decline for the art of zankou due to its impractical requirements for mastery in a growing age of multi tasking. Between the industrial applications for psionics and arcane magic, zankou became less and less popular. He would spend years helping it gain popularity, making deals with movie executives to feature high flying zankou action. Preaching the merits to learning even just a little bit of the art for self defense and unpredictable situations. He currently seeks more ways to improve its popularity and can be found wandering the galaxy like a missionary for martial arts, spreading the way of the zankist to aliens who might still be interested. This is also why he shouts the names of all his techniques in the middle of a fight, marketing.
