Biography
The leader of the Phantoms of the Purge, known as being the leader of monsters and one of the greatest threats to the continued existence of humanoids. During the Era of Rising she was known as Duargacalaun before faking her death and changing her name to hide among civilization. Under the advice of Arkaric she has been one of the central figures in the ongoing galactic destabilization. She has a grudge against humanoids ever since the genocide of her people during the purge. Combined with her belief in the superiority of the immortal races she has become one of the most significant threats to Sol. The monsters under her care regard her as a leader and a champion for her people, taking in those who were hunted by adventurers during the Era of the Purge to form a hidden society for the last two thousand years.
She is famously the dracolich that almost defeated the humanoid alliance that came about during the Era of Rising. All modern necrocarnum knowledge descends from her, each trick anyone learns is often given to them through mysterious means by Kanika. She is also known for modifying humanoids to her needs with the unique power to edit the souls and personalities of others. Kanika is the former director of the Raven facility, where convicts were sent under the guise of being a privatized maximum security prison. It turned out the facility was brainwashing them to be loyal to Kanika and prepared for redeployment. This facility was also used to modify the biology of the creatures she came across to enhance their natural talents.
It is known that she believes dragons and other long lived or immortal species to be the natural rulers of other shorter lived species. She chooses which races she feels are most qualified by measuring their essentia, regarding humans the same way humans regard less sapient animals. For the last two thousand years she has orchestrated the conflicts of Sol until it culminated in the Nelta invasion of the system. Reducing the number of humanoids left to resist her. Now that the system doesn't have the manpower to stand up to the Phantoms and her presence is revealed, she has started to take a more direct course of action.
