Biography
Hina Kazato is considered the least trustworthy person that could ever exist. She is an oni, a hybrid between demons and fae, who grew up as a slave in Shetou. Later escaping slavery to strike out on her own within the demon kingdom. If there was every a race or a backstory to set off flags, it would be hers. Though people often leave out that Hina was rescued from slavery by the Song Clan and spent a decade living with them. In her own words, if she told a lie they would somehow find out and beat the dishonesty out of her very soul. She shudders when recalling her time with Song Clan a lot.
She is an exceptional fighter from her time with Song Clan, a skill which served her well upon entering the demon kingdom. Despite being an incarnum trained warrior, she has abstained from eating other demons to enhance her powers. Hina considers anything less than endless training and practice to be a shortlived shortcut. She is technically only half demon, so that works for her specifically. Biologically she is a minor demon, though socially she is recognized as a greater demon since she keeps proving herself able to physically overpower them.
Despite her surprisingly strong code of honor, she is quite devious at the same time. She is a master of the monkey's paw and the devils deal. Anything short of a lawyer will find her quite difficult to deal with. She began the process of building her own estate, desiring not to be a peasant on the streets her whole life. Hiring herself out as a mercenary repeatedly, and gaining a bad reputation for being dangerous to deal with. She would find demons in desperate situations and offer them their only lifeline only to take everything from them. Perhaps as a joke, her nickname is "Honest Hina".
