Templates
The Eternal -
Unique to Decaelys and cannot be replicated by any ability that imitates other templates. Cannot be disabled by any ability that disables templates. The Eternal allows Decaelys to alter the speed at which time flows for any target. Capable of placing anything into true staisis or accelerating relative time. Any duration sensitive effects may be manipulated by this ability, Decaelys may use up to three actions per turn as long as only one is an attack, including triggering those of other characters. Decaelys may grant biological immortality or remove it. Decaelys can effect up to 1 planet and its atmosphere with this power at a time, provided they are not warded successfully. They manipulate time and turn economy in a turn based system - you get the point. Everything that takes an action or a round to do is within their domain to manipulate.
Jesai -
Can imitate any template they see in active use if it is derived from magic, takes an action but has no quantity limit per encounter. +5 def against magical attacks including ethi tech.
Isolation -
Takes an action to utilize. Pulls target(s) into an alternate situation. Team buffs cannot effect anyone in the effect of isolation or vice versa. Pandem binds are exempt from this effect.
Regeneration - 20
Regenerates 1 health every 4/X turns (round down)
Biography
A former archbishop of the Jesai civilization who left to join the Phantoms for currently unknown reasons. They are new to the galactic playground, having spent most of their life within their own plane. They tend to be somewhat reserved and curious, seemingly not overtly hostile. As a jesai archbishop they know seemingly all magic and can learn new magic just by seeing it, whether being cast, in effect, or the aftermath of it. They are classified as a beta entity and many would easily consider them a god, capable of reshaping worlds to their whim. Not much is known about them as they are often rather elusive, and so old that what we do know encompasses a tiny fraction of their relevance.
It is known that Decaelys evolved in another plane and over millions of years achieved sapience and intelligence independently. Wherever they came from, it was a lonely place with little to no other life forms present. After being found they would become a part of the jesai civilization for millions of years before mysteriously disappearing. Their return at the side of the Phantoms is somewhat of a galactic event. While there are more powerful active jesai and more powerful entities, Decaelys is still something of an historical figure as the inventor of time manipulating sahad magic as we know it today.
Despite their vast lifespan, they did spend a lot of it in accidentally self afflicted staisis. So they aren't quite as all-knowing as other super lifeforms of this age. It has also been notable that they must be constantly bartered with by the phantoms. They only hold any respect or endearment towards two specific members, Kanika and Arkaric. The others have to haggle to get the ancient jesai to do anything.
