Biography
An old dragon who was one of Kanika's first allies. Until recent revelations no one knew he was actually a member of the Phantoms and regarded him as somewhat heroic after the events of The Thousand Legends. He's always been thought of as just a little cranky. He is known to many as Elder Black or The Elder Black as one of the last black dragons to still be doing alive and well. They were mostly on the side of the monsters during the rising so they were nearly wiped out.
He is actually in his twilight years, having reached the waning edge of his lifespan. Despite offers from Kanika, he has not accepted immortality. Instead living out the rest of his years as an old dragon as nature intended, stating that an eternal life comes with an eternity of problems and he's looking forward to a really good nap.
Despite his waning years and lack of self preservation, Azarov has reached a mythical status. As one of the oldest remaining natural dragons, he is the largest left in Sol. Regardless of his affiliation, he commands a great deal of respect from other dragons in particular. It doesn't hurt that in his younger years he was known for being quick to resort to violence.
