Biography
The newly reigning matriarch of House Sarghess, who came to power after her sister's death. Alystra was formerly one of the highest ranking generals just below the matriarch and was simply next in line as the winner of the ensuing scuffle between the sisters and daughters of the house, winning the position in mock combat with her troops against her sisters to prove who would win without actually losing half of their armed forces. Ever since coming to power, Alystra has been much more aggressive than her predecessor and seeks to make her mark on the House's history by joining the push into Alnae. Alystra and her house have a very wolfy theme going on since no one knew Haziel was still wandering around and it seemed like a great symbol. Haziel hasn't sued for trademark infringement at least.
Alystra is particularly clever on battlefields and has a habit of being able to consistently out maneuver others, even fast moving enemies like the Ruffians of the Reach. She has claimed many victories over larger and more equipped militaries and stands out to Alnae as one of the most dangerous commanders between either Shetou or Kar'Soluth, and in keeping with drow culture this has made her forces shockingly loyal to her. In many cases just because they like siding with someone who wins a lot. After coming into the position of a matriarch she has started handling more of the civilian matters of her house and this has helped establish her position as a dictator when she invaded one of her own supporting minor houses to make an example of them. She has swiftly become favored by Yasrena for disciplined behavior and has started receiving more and more opportunities from the Val'Hari as a result. Leading to her infamy growing with each passing year as Kar'Soluth's second most feared matriarch now that Kharla is gone.
