Pandem - 5
This character has access to X tier pandem spells. Pandem casters are able to open rifts to other planes and create binds with other creatures to access their powers at the cost of accumulating pandem corruption, disrupting their ability to use arcane, psionic, and sahad magics and technologies.
Resistance (Fire) - 2
This character has a resistance to a certain type of threat. Gives X bonus to defense rolls against this category of attacks.
Biography
One of the earlier members to join the Astral Order. Alexander is actually a badly damaged zombie and has fully encapsulated himself in armor as not to take any more damage. His helmet is grafted to his skull and never comes off. He has a pandem bind to the elemental plane with a fire elemental and is known to employ this liberally. He is a particular expert in accessing the elemental plane and can produce a variety of effects, but he has a particular love for fire due to its easier access through his bind.
He is a tier five pandem caster and cannot use any other magic or ethi technology, but has access to the summon and embody bind techniques. He has a good relationship with his fire elemental and will sometimes be seen hanging out with it for no particular reason.
Alexander is a very serious individual who has taken a great scholarly interest in the pandem arts ever since joining the order, though he's not as mean as his presence implies. His zombie vocals, mask, and general presence is intimidating but without provacation he behaves as you might expect a normal person to. He's definitely not as dark and gloomy as the Knight-champion.
He has a distinct grace to his movements brought on by his life as a zombie being unable to heal even the smallest wounds and because of his pandem nature he was unable to use cybernetic augmentation to prolong his life. He seems convinced that he can one day use pandem magic to change his material form and is always studying towards that goal, seeking to become an elemental himself.
